PURPOSE OF JUST 2°
The month of April is Abortion Recovery Awareness month. We want to not only share how we are all affected by abortion but really focus on how it affects the woman and provide resources for help.
A Research Project
Why do women choose abortion? One of the great needs of pregnancy centers is quality academic research into why women chose abortion and what support systems and counseling can most effectively empower women to choose life. Well-known researcher, Dr. Priscilla Coleman is embarking on a new study which will help us better understand the motivations and attitudes of women who considered or chose abortion - and she needs YOUR help.
Dr. Coleman's previous research into the mental health effects of abortion on women continues with the current study. This research project will document the feelings and thoughts of women at the time they were making the decision to abort and their feelings and thoughts as they evaluate the outcome of their choice.
How to help: Dr. Coleman has created two surveys. Please consider asking women you know who fit, or may fit, these categories to consider completing one of these surveys. The surveys are completely anonymous. No personal information will be collected and no follow up contact will be initiated. Each online survey may take approximately an hour to complete.
